What I Nom Today ~ I happened to be in the Davis Square area, so I finally got a chance to stop by Kickass Cupcakes.  Yes, I felt like I was cheating on Party Favors...my ultimate go-to cupcake place...and, yes I also regretted it.  To be honest, even with kickass flavors like Mojito and Green Monster, the cupcake I got was sticky instead of moist and was sunken instead of fluffy.  It looked like a cupcake that I baked...not a good thing.  It was a heavy, liquor-soaked mess instead of dreamy, melty baked good deliciousness.  Also, I paid a whole $1 more for a Kickass cupcake than I would have for a PF one, and got waaaay less cupcake & frosting.  I'm always willing to try something once & sadly, for Kickass Cupcakes, that once is more than enough :(
